A Life Update & New Direction

A Life Update & New Direction

Hello dear friends,

It’s been a while since I last wrote here.

Unfortunately, a lot has been happening in the world—too much, honestly—and it has been difficult to process everything while keeping my sanity intact.

I recently started therapy, as I have been struggling with chronic panic disorder. It has been a very challenging journey so far.

On top of that, during all this uncertainty, I have been facing redundancy at work. After a great deal of thought, I made the decision to become self-employed. I have been feeling burned out, constantly stressed, and exhausted from working in environments with unrealistic expectations and little understanding—especially as a mother. Children get sick, they need care, and yet this reality is often overlooked.

It has also been difficult not having much support. Many of us are navigating motherhood without the kind of help previous generations may have had, and it can feel incredibly isolating.

So, I have decided to step back from my career for a while and focus on what truly matters right now: my family, my wellbeing, and the things that bring me peace—especially my garden.

I have also started a YouTube channel, and if you would like to follow me there, it would mean a lot to me.

I also want to share that this blog is going to change. I no longer want this space to revolve around reviews or the promotion of consumerism. It no longer aligns with how I feel, so there will be no more review posts going forward.

What this blog will be about

I believe this blog will focus on gardening, homesteading, and finding ways to live more simply and intentionally. More and more, I feel the need to reconnect with the land and become more self-sufficient—to grow what we can, slow down, and create a life that feels more grounded and meaningful.

Thank you for being here, truly 🤍
